THUNDERCATS

I’ve done a lot of work with Warner Brothers Animation over the years. When WB asked me to do the opening title sequence for the new Thundercats I was really excited, of course. They wanted it be like the original, at first. You can see my version here which sticks close to the original show, I think. In a race to get the show on air, they cut the open way down to just a canned After Effects lighting bolt on top of my model. That’s unfortunate, but understandable. Show production schedules can often be nightmares to deal with and sometimes you have to cut corners and just get it done.
